The purpose of the AMAPMED project is to better understand mangrove ecosystem dynamics by experimenting linkages between tree architecture, ecosystem dynamics and remote sensing studies. French Guiana mangroves are mainly studied because of their extraordinary dynamics and our experience since 1993.
